Welcome Romeo Matumba – Subject Librarian Midlands

Romeo Matumba is one of our new subject Librarians who joined the DUT Midlands Libraries on 1 March 2016. Romeo was an Evening/Reference Librarian at MUT where he was responsible for providing professional services to all academics, admin and students from three faculties; Management Sciences, Natural sciences and Engineering faculty. Part of his responsibility was to provide plagiarism and referencing workshops as well as EndNote Trainings to academics, admin and both undergraduate and post graduates students. Before joining MUT, Romeo worked at Varsity College as a campus Librarian as well as a National Librarian where he was responsible for managing and mentoring varsity college librarians. He began his career at UKZN at Howard college campus libraries as well as the Edgewood campus Library as an Information Officer.
