Ebsco eBooks is a collection of ebooks that contains a large selection of multidisciplinary ebook titles in a variety of subject areas. The collection is fully searchable by author, title, and keyword.
DUT Library has full text access to approximately 400 e-books on the Ebsco platform.

DUT Library’s settings and terms for eBooks on the EBSCOhost platform are as follows:
DUT’s eBooks on the EBSCOhost platform have different user-licenses. Some e-books are with 1, 2 or 3 user access while others have concurrent user access. Some e-books can only be read online and cannot be downloaded due to license restrictions from the publisher.
When you read e-books online, the reading time expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can stop the reading session from expiring by any action that “updates” the e-book. You can do this by turning the page, scrolling, printing, downloading etc.
If you place a hold on an e-book you must check it out it within 24 hours of receiving the notification or else the next person in line will get the e-book. To place a hold on an eBook you must have an EBSCO account.
e-Books can be downloaded for offline use. The checkout period for offline use is 24 hours. e-Books will be returned automatically at the end of 24 hours. To checkout an eBook for offline use you must have an EBSCO account.
Please note that EBSCO e-books need to be used with Adobe Digital Editions. You must download the software to open the e-book you downloaded.

EBSCO has an app for EBSCO eBooks which is compatible with Android, Apple iOS and Kindle Fire devices. Download the app from the iTunes Store or Google Play or set up your Kindle Fire and download the e-books.
