Mandela Day 2017
The Library celebrated Mandela Day by embarking on a knitting project, where all staff from the Library and the Writing Centre knitted scarves and blankets in honour of Madiba. These items were then donated to the St. Martin’s Diocesan Home for Children, in Glenwood. Khanyo Mkhize, Social Worker at St Martin’s graciously accepted the donation, which was handed over by Library Staff on Mandela Day
