Access to WHED and HEDBIB databases

The DUT Library is pleased to announce the addition of World Higher Education Database and International Bibliographic Database on Higher Education (HEDBIB) to the collection.

1. World Higher Education Database (WHED) is a service provided by the International Association of Universities (IAU) that offers comprehensive and up-to-date information on higher education systems and institutions in more than 180 countries and over 18,000 higher education institutions.

     Features include:

•  fully searchable and cross-referenced data
•  basic search options by institution, country, people and field of study
•  detailed information on the higher educational system of each country and of each institution

2. International Bibliographic Database on Higher Education (HEDBIB) is a database on higher education systems, administration, planning, policy, and evaluation. The database is maintained by the IAU, International Association of Universities.

Both databases are accessible using logins. Please contact your subject librarian for user logins.
