DUT library has opened its doors for the phased-in return of staff and students across DUT campuses. It is important to note that the health and safety of our community has remained our priority throughout the process of preparing the library for reopening.
Several measures have been implemented to ensure that library spaces and information services are reorganized to maintain social distancing. These changes are necessary and have limited the availability of study and social spaces, access to computers and laptops, as well as some of the face-to-face services offered by the library. Information and Reference services are offered primarily online with Subject Librarians being available on campus on specific days only. The ‘Ask a Librarian’ chat facility, remains operational during office hours.
The following protocols are in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in library spaces:
From 1 July 2020 the library operating hours will be extended to offer after-hours services. The operating hours indicated below will apply.
