New trial – SAGE Research Methods Collections

We now have trials to five SAGE Research Methods Collections until 30 September 2022

  • SAGE Research Methods Cases and Cases 2 are stories of how real research projects were conducted. Cases are original, specially commissioned, and designed to help students understand often abstract methodological concepts by introducing them to case studies of real research projects.
  • SAGE Research Methods Cases: Medicine and Health   is a collection that covers primary clinical and epidemiological research, both interventional and observational, as well as systematic review and meta-analysis. Examples of studies are drawn from across all major medical specialties, as well as public health, nursing, dentistry, health policy, and services research.
  • SAGE Research Methods Foundations provides a concise introduction to methods and research terms for those who are new to research in general or to that particular method. This collection covers qualitative and quantitative methods, key research studies, and profiles of important researchers. Foundation Entries cover the history, development, and debates around the major topics in research methods, and each Foundation Entry is related to supportive entries, as well as Pioneers in each field.
  • SAGE Research Methods Video: Practical Research and Academic Skills offers support on the practical skills that users need to successfully complete their research with helpful videos covering key areas such as writing a research proposal, planning and designing a research project and securing ethical approval are explicitly covered. Practical skills such as project management, writing for publication, presenting work, and building networks.
